Compressed air in the entertainment industry

Did you know that compressed air is also used in amusement parks? Our work for a manufacturer of amusement rides is an example of a bespoke solution. We were tasked with designing and supplying oil-free compressed air generation equipment and distributing the air throughout the ride.

Compressed air releases the seat restraints and operates the pneumatic brakes for entire rows of seats.

As this is a safety function, everything had to be calculated precisely and checked several times. Air distribution uses FESTO electropneumatic components. The first prototype of the ride is now in operation.
