The compressor range up to 5 m³/min has been completely redesigned following the introduction of the Stage V emissions standard in Europe. At the European development centre in Dobříš, we had the opportunity to see prototypes of these new compressors.
The striking design of the polymer canopy immediately catches the eye, and LED lights are now standard. In our view, one of the best innovations is the option to add ECOmizer, familiar from larger models. This patented Doosan system significantly reduces fuel consumption at idle. We also welcome the standard load button, which eliminates the need to start with the ball valves open at high engine speed. Another important addition is a 14 bar version delivering 3 m³/min, designed for fibre-optic cable blowing.
The compressors feature new Yanmar engines (25–47 kW) with particulate filters to meet the Stage V emissions standard. The key characteristics of Doosan compressors remain unchanged:
high durability, simple operation and easy maintenance
High demand from Western Europe has slightly extended delivery times. We currently confirm delivery in late September or early October for compressors ordered by the first week of July.
We have already ordered several units in different versions for our rental fleet, so you can try them out properly in September.
