Ultrasonic detection of inaudible leaks

Looking for a systematic approach to compressed air leaks? We now offer leak detection with the SONAPHONE SMART ultrasonic detector.

Its main advantage is measurement across the entire ultrasonic range, from 20 to 100 kHz. This enables it to detect almost all leaks, determine their characteristics and, where applicable, estimate the leakage flow.

We have a parabolic probe with a range of up to 25 m for detecting leaks in normally inaccessible places.

This means the measurements do not disrupt the customer's operations. Every detected leak is marked, photographed, recorded and classified. The results are presented in a report listing all leaks, with the primary aim of quantifying the customer's financial losses, for example from poor pipework or pneumatic components.

We recommend regular measurements followed by systematic repair of leaks throughout the facility based on the findings.
