How we calculate
Method: Darcy–Weisbach Δp = (λL/D + ΣK)ρv²/2 plus the sum of catalogue pressure losses for other components. Air at 20 °C, 1.01325 bar abs. Colebrook/laminar resistance.
Assumptions and limitations: Circular ductwork only, steady air flow up to 20 m/s. Without characteristics for all components, the total is incomplete and fan suitability cannot be confirmed. Available pressure must correspond to the actual operating point, not the maximum at zero flow.
