How we calculate
Method: Annual costs = average measured power consumption × time × price + maintenance. Payback is calculated only for a positive cost difference.
Assumptions and limitations: Use performance maps or measurements including idle operation, not just the motor's rated kW. Simple annual balance excluding VAT, discounting, financing and price increases. This is not an energy audit under ISO 11011.
