How we calculate
Method: t = V × (pfinal − pinitial) / [pref × (Qsupply − Qdemand)] × Tref/Tvessel. Constant flows, isothermal ideal gas.
Assumptions and limitations: Short events are often non-isothermal. Delivery may change with pressure and control. This is neither a switching-frequency calculation nor a safety design.
Method references- CAGI Compressed Air & Gas Handbook, chapter 4, 2021 – system design, storage and pressure losses.
Method version 1.0. Standard references verified in the ISO catalogue; the physical balances are not calculations prescribed by ISO. Before final design, we will verify actual operating and catalogue data.
