How we calculate
Method: Notation ISO 8573-1:2010 [particles:water:oil]. Particles in the relevant size bands, water as pressure dew point or liquid water, oil as the sum of aerosol, liquid and vapour. Concentrations at the standard's reference conditions.
Assumptions and limitations: This is an indicative functional setup, not a guarantee of class. It requires verification of the specific technology and measurement at the point of use. Class 0 must be contractually defined by the user and supplier; the calculator does not certify it.
