Vortex tubes and their applications
Do you use compressed air for blowing during metalworking? A metalworking company in Vysočina offers an example: it cools parts and blows away emulsion and swarf on a vertical CNC mill using a vortex tube that can cool the air jet to −46 °C.

A metalworking company in Vysočina offers an example: it cools parts and blows away emulsion and swarf on a vertical CNC mill using a vortex tube that can cool the air jet to −46 °C.
An additional benefit is up to 50% longer tool life with cold-air cooling compared with machining without it. A vortex tube can also be used for heating: without electricity, it produces hot air at up to 93 °C, an interesting option for heating component surfaces.
