A specific example from a South Bohemian company: annual compressed air generation costs of CZK 2.2 million and a combined compressor power of 190 kW. Using these figures and a full week's current measurements, we calculated a waste heat potential of 77 kW at 70% utilisation, representing annual energy savings of CZK 670,000. Waste heat can be used for domestic hot water, warm-air heating or preheating a heating circuit.
